3 visits of prestigious wineries and tasting 🥂
Maison Pommery
When we arrived in the morning, we went directly to the estate of Vrancken Pommery. We had made the reservation the day before via the website Vrancken Pommery.
We opted for the free Henry Vasnier visit for the price of €42 per person. This ticket is a double visit for the Pommery estate and La Villa Demoiselle.
The place is quite impressive, from the outside we could admire the beautiful colors of the Vranken-Pommery estate. Once inside, we could discover the 18 kilometers long cellars and travel through the ages. It was quite a fascinating visit. At the end of the visit, we had a champagne tasting session.
Villa Demoiselle
Next to the Pommery house is situated, La Villa Demoiselle, which is a gem of the early 20th century architecture. The Villa Demoiselle was reborn in 2008, with a new splendor thanks to the passion of its owners, Paul-François and Nathalie Vranken, after many years of neglect.
Thanks to this double visit, we also discovered the Villa, which is a jewel of Art Nouveau and Art Deco mixed.
Cordon Rouge Experience at Maison Mumm
Georges Hermann Mumm is at the origin of the creation of the famous Cordon Rouge which has become a symbol of quality all over the world since 1876. The Cordon Rouge experience is a guided tour of the cellars followed by a tasting of Mumm Cordon Rouge, the emblematic cuvée of the House of Mumm. The tour lasts 1h30 for the price of 27€ per person.
Reservations can be made via the websit G.H.Mumm.
Tuk-tuk rides in the heart of the vineyards 🛺
Bubbles Tuk-tuk offers guided tours and rides though the vineyard paths aboard electric Tuk-Tuks. A rather nice way to discover the vineyards, but above all an atypical, unusual, original and definitely fun experience!
It was an amazing way to discover the vineyards and villages with our warm and passionate guide. We loved it!
You can choose the duration: 1h, 2h, 1/2 day, 1 day. We opted for the 2h visit with tasting and visit of a cellar in a family of local producer. It was very different from the big Champagne estates. It was a more friendly experience, and it was nice to meet some locale producers, which was once again very rewarding.

Visit of the village Hautvillers 🍇
It would be a shame to come to Champagne without passing by the village of Hautvillers. Located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims vineyards, the village of Hautvillers is the cradle of the champagne region.
It is indeed here, in the old Benedictine abbey of Hautvillers, that the cellarer monk Dom Pérignon discovered in the 18th century the method of champagnisation of wine.
The tomb of Dom Pérignon is now situated in the abbey church of Saint-Sindulphe. Hautvillers is also a charming wine village with houses decorated with beautiful wrought iron signs.
Pressoria, a sensory journey to the heart of champagne
Located at the foot of the historic hillsides classified as a UNESCO heritage site in the commune of AŸ-CHAMPAGNE, Pressoria has appropriated a former pressing center of the House of Pommery without ignoring anything of its past. The soul of the presses is omnipresent.
This place allows you to explore at your own pace the immersive and interactive course. It also allows you to discover the wine through our 5 senses. Geology, climate, the hidden side of the vine, harvesting, champagne production, effervescence… With this playful experience, these words take on a whole new dimension.
The visit ends with a tasting experience of two champagnes with a breathtaking view on the vineyard. This is an activity that I highly recommend.
Visit of Reims ⛪️
Reims owes its fame to its cathedral, place of the coronations of the Kings of France and to the Champagne wine, the city being the seat of many important Houses.
Its subsoil is also full of beautiful discoveries with about 200 kilometers of cut chalk pits, Gallo-Roman or medieval, which house 250 million bottles of champagne.
If you want to bring something typical with you from Reims, it’s the Pink Biscuits of Reims from La maison Fossier.
